Our History

Avcılar English Language Course was founded on a simple observation: rote-learning, exam-focused methods leave students unable to actually speak in real situations. Our goal was to build a language programme where what happens in the classroom carries over into daily conversations, job interviews, and travel — not just onto paper.

From day one, we recognised that adult and child learners have very different needs, so we built separate curricula, materials, and teaching methods for each age group. We never put a primary-school student and a working adult who needs English for their career in the same classroom with the same textbook.

When building our teaching staff, we looked beyond language knowledge to teaching ability itself, working with experienced instructors and native English speakers to help students learn language that is both accurate and fluent.

Today, alongside our Avcılar headquarters, our branches across different cities reach thousands of students, offering a wide range of programmes from general English to exam preparation, across levels from A1 to C1.

We define quality not by a certificate but by results measured in the classroom — regularly updating our curriculum through level tracking, instructor feedback, and student satisfaction surveys.
